ya gotta start somewhere
so i find myself falling asleep every night falling asleep with the tv on watching one of 4000 movies. well, maybe one of 40 movies or however many there are on digital cable...and that's a lot.
i woke up sunday during the opening credits of Chilly Dogs (released outside of the US as Kevin of the North). not having ever heard of it before, and with my penchant for utterly nonsensical movies, i lied there in my sleeping bag (as i still have not yet bought a bed) and was entertained for approximately the next hour and a half. i think what intrigued me the most was that it featured skeet ulrich, originally of Scream fame (unless you count being an uncredited thug in TMNT or an extra in Weekend at Bernie's) and natasha henstridge, of such uberSpecieshotness proportions only the most carefully chosen words could be used to describe her: she's wicked hot! oh yeah, and leslie nielson was in it, too....that, if anything, should give you a clue as to what kind of movie it was.
as far as movies go, it was a mix of Caddyshack and Iron Will, but what concerns me is why these two formerly A-list actors would do a movie of this level. it was just hard to get use to seeing the two of them in slapstick comedy. sure, really dumb movies are the start of some questionably high profile careers. i'm specifically talking about keanu in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and paul walker in Meet the Deedles (both of which i own). but for skeet and natashalicious to take the step backwards, i just don't get it. oh, and while we're on the subject, previously stated uberbabe is co-starring again with the formerly Mr. Demi Moore and everyone's favorite Friend Sr. Perry in the new The Whole Ten Yards on April 9th. a cinematic experience i am most definitely looking forward to.
oh, and i'm sure i missed the boat on this one a looooooong time ago, but you tell me which one's skeet and which one's johnny depp.
